How do we know that God even exists? Is there any proof for his existence? If so, what is it? These are not uncommon questions, and ones that you may have already asked yourself.
Let's start with an analogy to help us get a mental image of what I'm about to talk about: You're walking through an art gallery, when all of a sudden, thousands of little bits and pieces of paper begin clustering together, morphing themselves into the shape of a canvas. Then, a wet, sticky substance begins to acquire different colors. It smears itself onto the canvas into a geometric pattern. Soon enough, the paint has dried, and voila! You have a painting.
Now, you know that in reality something like that could never happen. Why not? Because we know that for every painting, there must have been a painter. The painting is evidence of the artist. Similarly, when you look at the magnificent skyscrapers in the city, you know that they didn't merely build themselves. There had to be someone in charge of the project of making the building, and several people to put all the parts and pieces together.
In the same way, we can look at the whole Earth. There are trees and birds, seas and fish. There is an atmosphere that protects us from the dangers of Outer Space and provides oxygen for us to breathe. Doesn't it make sense that this creation is evidence for an intelligent creator?

It says in Genesis 1:1, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." This verse establishes God as the creator and the authority of the universe. He created the concept of time, the skies, the solid ground, the seas, and life on Earth. He is sovereign over all.
So, if there is anything to take away from this, it is that we can be sure there is a God because his creation is a direct result of his creative design. Creation = Creator.
